Mongolia Welcomes New Auditor General
Mr. Zandanbat Dorjsuren was appointed Auditor General of Mongolia by the country’s parliament on May 9, 2019. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Dorjsuren held numerous positions, including Director of the General Department of Taxation’s State Budget Revenue and Inspection Department; Governor of Khan-Uul District; and Head of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development’s State Administration and Management Department, Finance and Economics Division, and Investment and Production Division. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Mongolia in 1991 and a bachelor’s degree in law from Otgontenger University in 1998. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration Management from the Graduate University of Mongolia. Mr. Dorjsuren succeeds Mr. Khurelbaatar Dorjsurenkhorloo as Auditor General.
